Short Bio

I am currently a full professor in School of Computer Science and Engineering, Beihang University. I received my PhD under the supervision of Prof. Kecheng Liu from University of Reading in 2010, MSc with distinction under the supervision of Dr. John Bigham from Queen Mary College, University of London in 2003, BSc from Nanjing University of Science and Technology in 1996. Before I joined Beihang University I worked as senior software engineer in China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. My research interests and publications span from natural language processing, machine learning, data mining and information systems.

I am continuously looking for self-motivated PhD and MSc students. I am also continuously looking for self-motivated 2nd and 3rd year BSc students to apply for internship in my group. Please feel free to email me with your CV if you are interested.
